Gear Vest Pro

This is my 1st time using a hydration vest & I was concerned about the fit, comfort & weight. I'm 5'4", 34DD & with the 1ltr vest filled it fits comfortably, no rubbing under arms & snug with no bounce. There's also many pockets to stash your supplies & large cell phone. Other than having to search the internet on how to open & fill the bladder, the Orange Mud Gear Vest is a well made excellent product.

I used to never run anything past 5ks, in distance. But once I inched closer to 13+ mile obstacle course races and trails, in cozy and swampy Florida, I knew random Aid Stations weren't going to cover it anymore.

I wanted something that fit my body, smaller athletic build, sleek enough to clear crawling obstacles, no "slush around" and rub shoulders during running and climbing-but have enough room to pack some extra fuel, hold trash and keep me hydrated.

The Gear Vest did just that! Five stars! I get compliments on it from racers and have a collection now for multiple lap Ultras.

I have used this Gear Vest Pro several times for my longer runs in San Diego. It has held up very well. It is well designed and the front pockets fit my Iphone XR. I like the extra pocket in the back if I ever needed a rain coat or another layer. They really thought of all the needs someone would require for running or biking. You forget its there sometimes.

I used it for a Spartan Beast and it worked great. Plenty of pockets for nutrition and the water bladder had just enough volume to supplement what was offered on the course. It will be my go to long distance vest from now on.
