We've designed this pack for big adventures so you can go long in terms of storage, comfort, and functionality. The Adventure Pack 20L features a zipper secured roll top and compression system which allow it to adjust from 15 to 21 liters, and make it versatile from short adventures to epic! Most notably is our load leveling system which stabilizes by compressing the pack vertically and horizontally.

Front: The chest pockets fit plus sized phones and 600ml soft flasks. The two small pockets in front of the flask pockets are for gels/trash/etc and the two shoulder pockets are for your phone, chapstick, and nutrition. Purchase flask here: Soft Flask The elastic chest harness works wonderfully for ladies and just as well for guys. Sizing is versatile from very petite up to about a 52" chest.

Right side: Has a 9" long zippered opening for access to maps, jackets, headlamps. The pocket reaches across the pack which creates an interior baffle as well as a large pocket.

Left Side: Features a large pocket which holds most any water bottle or flask, and the 1" bar tacked nylon on the back works great for holding trekking poles with our optional Trekking Pole upgrade.

Bottom: Features a 20mm attachment system for sleeping pads and additional gear.

Interior: The interior has 3 compartments. 1st is the bladder pocket which holds a 2L bladder (included) but can hold a 3L also. 2nd is the main cargo for bulky gear, and the third is for light jackets.

I don't think I'd ever buy another brand of pack again

I used it all last season and hand washed it with Woolite a few times (I used it for races and training so it got stinky) and it's in great condition. The 2 liter HydroPak Elite reservioir that is GREAT quality, I bought a mouthpiece cover separately for it and tuck the mouthpiece in one of the strap pockets. I bought a Camelbak military grade 3 liter one because I ran a Spartan Beast and I read somewhere that during the Open Waves they don't have water stations and I wanted to be prepared. I had no problem fitting the Camelbak 3 liter reservoir in it, but had to get creative to rig it so it wouldn't move around. There is a lace-up thingy on the outside to bind it up, but I took it off so it wouldn't get caught up on barbed wire...I used that to secure the 3 liter reservoir inside. Hashtag: ingenuity.

It has multiple pockets and a huge amount of space inside for nourishments. I keep SaltStick tablets in the super-accessible pockets on the straps. I kept some wet wipes in it just in case I had to relieve myself on the course, and I also kept some Tiger Balm in there just in case. And the pack still stayed close enough to me that I got through 3 barbed wire crawls no problem.

The straps on the side truly make it adjustable to be comfortable for women and the straps do not do the bicep rub thing when I am running. It has 2 small buckles across the chest that are easy on/easy off. and it has a safety whistle in one of the buckles. Any time I go hiking, this thing will be my…

Glad you dig it and best of luck in training and racing! FYI-We do have a 3L bladder on our site that this pack is designed around as opposed to the Camelbak ones that don't mount the same.

Thanks!

Long Training, No Water? No Problem!

I go on a lot of self-supported, long training runs for ultras where there are little to no water stops. So I usually have to carry a lot of fuel, water, and layers depending on time of year. So the 20L Adventure Pack is PERFECT for these types of training runs. Also, if you're going on an all-day adventure run or hiking for long hours of the day, this is great to carry everything you need while staying comfortable and lightweight.

Adventure Pack 20L

My wife is not a runner, but wanted a smaller pack to carry when we go on 10 - 15 mile day hikes. The Adventure Pack 20L turned out to be the perfect pack for her. She can easily carry her food and water bladder in comfort, along with gloves or a light jacket if needed. Orange Mud gear is great for athletes of all kinds !!

Best pack bar none

I still have the very first Camel Pack ever sold and many others of every brand. This is the best pack I've ever owned and have bought two others as gifts. It stays in place, holds a lot of water and has the handiest pockets. It holds more gear than any other pack. Your phone can sit safely on your shoulder, it's easy to pull out with one hand. Zipper is top notch. Love this pack and will never use any other brand.

Pack is great

This pack is great! With the bladder, you can get plenty of running in without needing to stop to refill with water, and you still have room for extra gear. Without the bladder, even more room is available. I've started run commuting and have been able to fit a work computer, my change of clothes to be presentable at work, a pair of dress, and a jacket (it is winter here currently) and still have room to spare! Plenty of room in this pack and it still fits comfortably, even with all that gear!
