Gear Vest, 2L (1L Bladder, 2L total cargo): Ideal for running, biking, triathlon

After doing long distance running for 5 years, I could no longer stand my hydration belt. It moved as a ran, & I hated were it sat on my body. Plus, it made running bibs logistically more difficult. After trying on this hydration pack at the Las Vegas Rock ‘n’ Roll Expo, I promptly added it to my Christmas wish list. I was so pleased to receive it from my family, & I have been loving it ever since. I no longer dread my long runs. This pack makes it easy to carry with me everything I need (or might need). You can tell it was thoughtfully designed. I have zero complaints & have been singing its praises to fellow runners.

Wanted something that holds about 32oz of water and 16oz of sport drink (w/ bottle add on), along with some snacks and my phone. This nailed it. Super easy to clean too.

Extremely comfortable when running

Overall I really like this pack. It’s secure on the back, and does not bounce up and down. The weight of the water is distributed evenly, and it feels balanced. The bottles and bladder are well made, and easy to clean. The bottles do however give the water a yucky taste, which probably means I’m drinking plastic chemicals. The bladder water tastes fine. My only other complaint is that the 2 chest straps are made out of a really slippery material, causing them to slip through the buckles and constantly loosen when I run. I remedied this by holding them in place with some rubber elastics.

This pack is exactly what I needed! Not too big but enough to carry enough water for a long run. The elastic chest straps wonderful. They allow you to get the pack tight enough so its not bouncing around and doesn't restrict chest when breathing heavily.
