Tired of bouncing and sloshing hydration packs? Solution found, meet the HydraQuiver Single Barrel™. The HydraQuiver sports a silky smooth webbing, long spandex pockets to hold your phone while running, an interior rear cargo storage and a secure zipper pull.

Thick foam padding and big air channels provide ample support and maximum breath-ability. The running water bottle is easy to reach and replace thanks to a wide funnel opening and perfect retention. We use a reusable BPA-free water bottle to make refills quick and clean up easy. Unlike a hydration bladder, these are much easier to wash! For your nighttime safety we have a reflective logo on the bottle holder. There is also an area at the base of the pack to attach your jacket or shirt with shock cord for an optional purchase. Wear instructions are simple, put on the pack, cinch it down snug and you're good to go! Perfect fit for male and female runners!

Love the single barrel

The single barrel is such a unique concept and design. It sits high and tight for a no-bounce feel. It’s so comfortable, I forget it’s there. I love this option for races, as the bottle is so easy to refill at water stops. The extra storage on the shoulders is perfect for snacks and gels, and the back zipper pocket holds my phone and keys perfectly!

Hydraquiver

I’ve been using orange mud for 4-5 years, I have the single barrel and hydraquiver vest for my marathon runs. I used my hydraquiver vest for my first 50k run. Very lite, easy to maintain, lots of pockets. I recently bought another single barrel hydraquiver, and I love it!

Perfect for supported ultras and medium distance training

I found the HydraQuiver while searching for a new hydration solution for an upcoming 50-mile Ultra with aid stations every 6 or so miles. My criteria was that I wanted a product that held enough liquid for a 6-mile segment (20-24 ounce), was easy to refill, and was completely unnoticeable while I ran.

My current hydration products were:

- a handheld bottle: perfect capacity, but way to annoying for that distance. Creates a lot of arm fatigue later in the race

- a hip holster twin bottle: again, perfect capacity, but the slight bounce can be mentally distracting and cause chafing and irritation after long distance

- an ultra vest with 2-liter bladder: great for long training and less supported races, but way overkill for the 6-mile segments. And a real pain to refill

After watching Josh's videos and reading some reviews I bought the HQ, and it was an absolutely wonderful choice. I did several training runs to dial in overall fit and technique, which really gave me confidence that it would work. Race day came and went, the HQ performed admirably. No chafing, no mishaps, no mental distractions. Easy to reach, easy to refill. Built tough and should last a long time.

I give this product 5 stars. However there are some minor areas for improvement based on my experience:

- Would love to see a Podium Chill bottle instead of the standard bottle. But that does add to cost. I just grabbed one of my cycling bottles.

- Once the adjustment straps got wet with sweat, they…

As close to perfect as it gets

I've been using this pack for years. The comfort and durability is unrivalled. I won't run with anything else. I do think the newest models are a little steep in price; that said, you definitely get what you pay for! Highly recommend!
